Menang Dual Naming Sites
On your drive to the beach take a look around and discover some of the aboriginal sites of significance that have been recently dual named to preserve the rich Menang Noongar history in the area.
The aim of the Restoring Menang Noongar Place Names project is to acknowledge the cultural significance of places and increase awareness and knowledge of the Menang language by increasing the number of geographical features and places within the City of Albany that includes the Menang Noongar place name.
